Happy Wednesday! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today’s card for the Joy Clair Blog was inspired by Joy Clair Designs’s February Mood Board, which features vibrant reds and pinks, hearts and roses, and an overall Valentine vibe.
I used the Song of Solomon 4″ x 6″ clear photopolymer stamp set (currently on sale in the shop!) to make today’s card.
Card Details:
- Created an A2 landscape card base using black cardstock.
- Cut a layer of white smooth card stock slightly smaller than the base and used a mini cloud stencil and pink Distress Oxide inks to create a sky background.
- Stamped the silhouette of a couple holding hands (from the Joy Clair Song of Solomon stamp set) in black pigment ink and then added a bare tree die cut over them.
- Stamped the sentiment, “All because two people . . ” (also from the Song of Solomon stamp set) in black pigment ink in the top left hand corner.
- Cut a sloping hill out of red cardstock and stamped a flower patterned design in red ink on it for the bottom of the card.
- Die cut a white picket fence and adhered in on the top edge of the hill.
- Stamped “Congratulations” from the Joy Clair New Baby clear stamp set in the bottom right corner.
- Added red, pink, and white heart sprinkles to the trees and ground below.
