Hello crafters, Joy here sharing an encouraging friendship card featuring our beautiful digital stamp called Floral Catcher. This stamp set has two gorgeous dream catchers and three sentiments that are perfect for sending an encouraging word.
This was a very easy card to create, but it is beautiful and conveys love which is so important these days. I used Floral Catcher for my project today and printed it onto smooth card stock. I die cut the panel down to approximately 3.75 x 5 inches and colored it with Copics. For added texture and interest I splattered some acrylic paint over it before matting in gold and in egg plant card stock. I chose pops of gold and yellow because they are opposite of purple on the color wheel creating contrast and drama. Whenever I am stuck on what color combination to use, I always look to the color wheel for inspiration, and the answer is always hidden there. I hope that helps if you struggle with choosing colors too.
