Hi Joy Clair Friends, Cathy back on the blog today. A couple of friends got me interested in trying to make a Tuxedo Pop-Up Box Card recently. I thought the variety of flowers in the Wish Big stamp set would make a sweet version of the this style of a pop-up box card.
Card Details
I started by stamping the flowers multiple times and coloring them with my Copics to compliment the patterned paper I used for the box.
Creating the Tuxedo Pop-Up Box Card
This would be a WOW card to make for someone and is a great card to make. The stamps in the Wish Big set make it perfect for many occasions!
There are a variety of videos showing how to make this kind of pop-up box card. I used an adapted version which you can see on LV Handcrafted’s You Tube channel. Box card paper dimensions: Card base: 11 x 4-1/4″; Pattern 1: 2.5 x 4-1/8″ (2 ct.) and 2.5 x 1-3/8″ (2 ct.); Pattern 2: 2.5 x 4 1/8″ (2 ct.)
