Watercoloring in today’s project is the one we will use, using On Your Special Day Digital Stamp Set. Hello, lovelies! Marj here from MarjBanzalesDesigns. I am excited to be back up on Joy Clair Designs Blog with a simple but elegant image that I made in a card.
For today’s card, I used the November mood board and it was such an easy way to make a card every now and then.
Here are some of the details on how I made the card:
To make this card, I opened the Word document and arrange the flower on each side of an A2 notecard. Once done and satisfied with the way it looks, I printed it on regular white cardstock. Using the Watercolor Brush Pen Marker from Artez, I applied a little bit of Yellow Color to each flower on each side. Next, I started working on the next flowers applying a little Reddish Brown color and water. When I’m using Watercolor Brush I don’t over saturate my paper not unless it’s a Watercolor Paper. For the leaves, I applied the Light Green first then added a touch of Dark Green. Watercoloring On Your Special Day Digital Stamp Set is so fun to do!
Because the center is open, I decided to add my own touch. I drew a Rhombus and added some lines as another design. Then, added the sentiment in the center that says “Grateful For Everything”. The panel was mounted on dark blue cardstock but slightly wider and taller. The card base measures 5.5 inches wide and 4.25 inches long.
For my final touch, I added some gold sequins.
