Hi Crafty Friends! It’s Susan and I’m sharing something a little different for me. Today I’m sharing a card using the Cutest Love Digital Stamp Set today.  This cow is seriously cute!

I wanted to paint the image using lots of color and also keep the painting loose.  There’s something about not coloring all the way to the lines and letting the colors bleed into each other a little that I like. The image is printed on mixed media card stock then colored with Catherine Pooler Designs ink (I used the re-inkers instead of the ink pads, a little water and a couple of small water color brushes to paint the image). I used a Tombow N55 marker and some water to ground the image.

The panels were cut with a CPD die and I swiped an ink pad across the bottom two layers to create matching colored card stock.  I printed the sentiment onto white card stock, layered it onto black then adhered to the panels. I felt it was missing something so I cut a couple small banners from patterned paper that had the colors I was using then tucked them into the panels.
