Hello crafty friends! Marj here from MarjBanzalesDesigns. Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Today I have a new card to share with you. With this card, I decided to challenge myself to cut it up in 4 to have some dimension and as well as texture. It was kind of difficult for me to do that as I love the background and the main image pops.

Today’s project features Refresh the Soul Digital Stamp along with the My Path Digital StampWithout you, I would be lost for the sentiment.

without you I would be lost

Let’s get started…

First, I started by choosing the best background that suits my main focus of the project. I chose the vintage look woodgrain digital paper that I have on my computer. I usually print my digital paper and resize them according to my liking. But for this project, I decided to add it on top of the Digital paper. I arranged the beautiful flower image in the center and print it out using my HP Deskjet Printer. This stamp set is called Refresh The Soul Digital Stamp Set from the Springish Fiesta Bundle.

Next, using my all-time favorite alcohol marker Arteza Ever Blend Ultra Art, I colored it with a combination of Red Family and Pink Family. Then, for the leaves, I used the Green Family. For some texture and added dimension, I used the Sakura White Gel Pen. After that, the fun part, cutting it into 4 same sizes. I haven’t tried this technique for quite a long time so I decided to give it a try once again.

The next step is to adhere each piece with strong glue onto Smooth White Cardstock that leaves a slightly white border on the side. Finally, adhered to an A2 black card base. I used the “Without You, I Would Be Lost” from the My Path Digital Stamp Set.

See you and Thank you for stopping by,

Marj
