You Deserve This!

We all deserve everything that we like to have! Happiness, peace, love, and safety! That’s what we are striving for everyday since the New Year but we are striving back again to get away from this very dangerous virus! I thought this year will be better and I am still hoping it will and everyone will be safe from now on!

New Year has arrived and we are still looking forward for the best, aren’t we all? You deserve this!

This is what my card is all about today and we all do!

So, let’s get started and let me tell you on how I made this card…

For my project today, I really don’t have any plan at all when I decided to design this. As a matter of fact, I was just playing on my computer and decided to see what I can come up to show some more perspective on designing a card.

I had a chance on watching something on Youtube before about using some Digital papers and it was so easy as it’s like the images when I am working on them so, I decide to play with it.

First, I check what Digital Papers I have to start designing.

I chose the My Succulents Digital Stamps and it works perfectly for my background. Next, I resize the image and arrange them from highest to lowest or tallest to smallest size of the succulent.

Then, I started on choosing the right color for each succulent that will blend with my background.

I chose, Green, Pink, and Purple. These 3 color will standout to a busy marbled background but will blend as well. For vibrancy, I match the succulents with pots Brown, Green, and Yellow.

Once done coloring the images, I took the sentiment You Deserve this from Pamper Yourself Digital Stamp Set. I had this printed before so I took it from my stash and just cut the tail on both ends for some decoration.

To add the glitter and shine to my card, I use some wet glue and added it without any direction then added the Gold Glitter. To set the glitter, I added more glue on top so it will stay and not to be messy. I also added some wet glue all around the card and added some Gold Glitter again. This is an easy way to add some shine without spending too much money.

To finish it off, I added the sentiment on top right corner. Adding it to another layer of cardstock then adhered it to an A2 white notecard and we are done!

I hope you learn a thing or two and will give it a try! I really love how this turned out and will do this again for future projects.
