Hi there, Martha Lucia here with you to share two CAS Stamped Cards that I made using the masking technique. I am featuring the stamp sets Just Kitten Around, #Single and Saved by Grace. All these available in our Joy Clair Designs Store. Let me share my first card:
Directions:
This is one layer card and I created a texture on the lower part to make it more attractive. Using the masking technique I created the diagonal areas with two different colors of distress ink. I used Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade. Then I stamped one of the funny cats included on the stamp set Just Kitten Around. I colored the image with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir and stamped one of the sentiments included on the #Single stamp set.
To make my second card, I used the stamp set Saved by Grace. It is also a CAS card that is totally accomplish with the rule of 1/3. That’s mean that you can use only one third of the surface of the card.
I stamped the big flower included on the stamp set Saved by Grace using Party Dress Ink from Catherine Pooler and also stamped the same image over masking paper. I covered the image to protege it when I stamped the lateral flowers. For the leaves I used Lime Rickey Ink from Catherine Pooler.
I resized the layer using the large size of the Embossed Edge Rectangle Dies. It create the perfect texture around the stamped layer.
These are two different CAS Stamped Cards very easy and simple to make.
