Hi Everyone, it’s Priscilla from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am on the Joy Clair Blog with a square card using the “Forever Friends” digital stamp .The set is perfect to celebrate spring and any occasion, and features 1 flower bunch and 4 fabulous  sentiments.

Today’s card is a 6″x 6″ – a size I don’t normally make.

I colored the flowers images with my Spectrum Noir “Tri-Blend” markers before cutting them out with my Brother“Scan N Cut” machine. To create the background, I first die cut a hexagonal opening in a white layer of card stock and framed it out in lavender.  Next I “stained” a page from an old dictionary with purple Distress Ink and inserted it into the opening. I die cut another hexagonal frame out of silver metallic card stock and placed it at a different angle over the flowers.

To finish the card, I printed out the “Happy Birthday Friend” sentiment from the same digital set onto blue card stock and die cut it with one of the smaller dies from the same hexagonal die set. I adhered it to the bottom right corner of the card and added a butterfly image from the “Just Butterflies” digital set for a finishing touch.
