Hello crafty friends, Ericka here and today I’m making a large Christmas tag with the Love Santa Digital set. I love these Santas and the expression on their faces.I thought this one would be perfect for a large present.

Details

To start, I used Word to print out my Santa along with the “Love Santa” sentiment. I used my Copic markers to color up this cheerful Santa and then fussy cut him out.

I wanted to make it look like Santa was dancing in the snow. I found a fun stencil in my stash and used texture paste on the black tag. I then used the Emerald Creek Arctic Daybreak embossing powder and sprinkled it on top on the texture paste. Once my texture paste was dry, I used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder for a fun white and gold looking snow.

I love the sentiment included in this set but knew it wouldn’t print very well on my tag, so I took some carbon paper and traced the sentiment onto the tag. I then used my gold pen to color over the lettering for a fun signature look.

To attach my Santa to the tag, I used foam tape for added dimension. Such a fun Christmas tag I’m sure my daughter will love.
