Happy Tuesday Everyone! Priscilla here from Nubble Light Designs. Today I am sharing a sympathy card I recently made for a friend. I love to use non-traditional colors often, and this card was no exception. No “robin blue” eggs today!
This stamp set, Prized Life, features 5 images and 5 sentiments that can be used separately or combined for multiple uses.
Card Details:
- Created an A2 card base out of purple cardstock.
- Arranged the bird’s nest image and the sentiment “Sharing in Your Sorrow” on my computer to fit together proportionally in an A2 size area.
- Printed the arrangement out on to white smooth card stock and colored the nest, leaves, and eggs with my Copic markers. (I purposefully colored the eggs purple, just because it’s “unexpected” and it would “pop” on the card and coordinate with the card base.)
- Die cut a narrow white frame and adhered it to the front of the card, enabling a hint of purple to show through for a more finished look.
- Added sparkle to the eggs and scattered several purple sequins around the image.
